I grew up in Orangevale which is about 20 minutes from Sacramento, and, because its so close, I've spent a lot of time there. But my favorite place to visit in Sacramento is Old Town Sacramento. It has the most history and the cutest shops. I love going to Evangeline's, which has some strange stuff but they do have some really cool outfits for Halloween and stuff like that. Also, there are a lot of places on the streets which have amazing food! Everything from candy to seafood to Chinese. The variety is wonderful. You just have to remember to bring enough money to pay for everything you'll want to buy! There's also a great view of the Sacramento River and if you pay you can get on a boat and go for a ride down the river. Old Town is definitely the place in Sacramento I like the most.

Hello I'm Eve, I'm your penfriend :) I'm sixteen and soon seventeen in December, I have one sister called Moira and two brothers called Arnaud ( twenty-three years old) and Florian ( eighteen years old). I have a dog called Capinou and a cat but it has no name. I'm new in my school (Saint-François) before I was in Enghien, it is about ten min from my house, I have to take the train to go to school. My mother is called Annick and my father is called Olivier. I love France too, my nationality is french. I love going to the cinema with my friends at the weekends, spending time with my friends, see my girlfriend, I don't like shool xD but I love English, I love going to the disco and going outside. I do tennis at home and a lot of other sports but I'm not in a club, I love sports but like I smook, I do less sports than before. My favourite sports is ski, I go skiing on April, the first week; I go there with my brother, my sister and a lot of friends. I go skiing every year.

I'm gonna tell you a little about my routine.
First, when is your birthday?
I get up at 5.30 a.m in the week and at the weekends I always get up early, so I'm an earlybird.
I go sleeping at midnight in the week and at the weekends I go to bed at 3 o'clock or later, to get up at 8 o'clock.
I don't need to sleep a lot, just like my father and my brother.
I leave home at 7.30 a.m because my brother always get up later. Then we go to Enghien to take the train at 7.44 a.m and I arrive at Ath, where is my school, at 8 o'clock and my lessons begin at 8.15 a.m but they often close the doors at 8.10 a.m so I'm sometimes too late because I have to finish my cigarette.
I'm in the fifth of social and educative sciences option. So, next year if I pass my year it'll be the last year and I've done my third year twice.
We have lunch at school at 12.40 to 13.25, we can eat sandwiches, ... but there isn't warm food; you can just buy sandwiches.
When you're in the last year, you can eat outside but in my year you can't, you have to eat in the canteen.
We have english on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
In the end of cours, I'm at home at five o'clock.
I don't work a lot for school, about 2 hours a week...
My favourite courses are english and gymnastics.
Every Friday, I go to a village near mine and we have a drink with my friends. I always go outside at the weekends.
I never go outside whitout my friends because I don't like being alone and it's better with friends.

Je vais te parler de notre système scolaire.
A partir de 3 ans, nous commençons à aller a l'école maternelle pendant trois ans, ensuite, nous allons a l'école primaire pour 6 ans et par après nous allons à l'école secondaire pendant 6 ans aussi, on finit tous nos années vers 18 ans, normalement. Après on à le choix de continuer en faisant des études supérieures ou de travailler directement. Pendant nos études secondaire, on peux commencer à travailler a seize ans en contrat d'apprentissage et 18 ans parce que c'est l'âge de notre majorité.
J'ai déjà été dans plusieures option : Latin et sciences-économique, Latin et Grecques, Latin et Anglais, Sciences-anglais, economie-anglais et sciences sociales et educative.

For the beggin, sport of girls in Belgium is like classical dance or fitness; for boy, there is football and mixed, volleyball etc
I like doing sport in my spare time mostly with a nice weather but i'm not in a club or in a team, i do sport just with friends. I like watching tv, listening to music, visiting my friends and a lot of ohter things.
I don't speak with my parents just occasionally. I'm with them for eating and in the car to go the station or for an family activity.
After, I watch tv two hours a day, before the supper. I sometimes watch tv during all the weekend but if the weather is nice i go out ;)
I like Gilmore firls, dawson, docteur house, desperate housewives, newport beach, les fréres scott, next, un dos tres, ... Everybody in Belgium like watching one of those series.
I'm plugged-in about one hour a day, during that time, I download music, I listen to music on youtube, I chat, I go on facebook. At the weekend I go for two hours on the computer. We have two hours computers, one in my father's office and one for the children next to the sitting room.
The most important thing to me is music, I can't spend a day whitout music, it's impossible! My father spend all days on the computer because he's a sharholder. He likes watching good films on tv but not very much. My mother hardly ever goes on the computer but she watches tv before and after the supper for the information. We have two hours informatica a week but we don't learn a lot :s

Bruxelles is de capital of Belgium and so It's the center too
There is a lot of things to do there!
-There are many shops => "La rue neuve" ( the new street for you ) Is many streets with a lot of shops everywhere. Where you can buy, clothes, food, media, ... You just can't boy animals or somethinf like that
-Some cinema => When I go to Bruxelles, I often go to the UGC with my parents or my friends because it's a big cinema with a lot of rooms and There are a lot of choice for films. It's very nice too
-The Atomium => There are 9 balls and it represente a moelcule of an atome. If you come in Belgium, you MUST go to see it!
You can go in the ball and there, visit because it's an expostition and a restaurant in the laste ball, in front of the Atomium.0.
-There are a lot of good place to have a drink or to eat. There are some expostition. It's very interesting.

Tout d'abord je vais te parler de carnaval, A la fin de cette semaine çi, nous aurons en Belgique et dans certains autres pays des congés pour les vacances de carnaval. ( just like Christmas) Dans certaines villes comme Halle, on fait un fête où les personnes se déguisent et dansent comme à une soirée et on se déguise en pleins de choses différentes une peu comme a Haloween mais ce sont des déguisements plus joyeux et drôles comme un lapin, une abeilles, des animaux et encores des personnes drôles.

There is a BIG fair during July I think :S Giants come ( this year, the older in the school in the 6th year had build a giant fo the school :P) on the square, there are a lot games, attractions, food, mostly especialy food like " croustillions" etc. Our speciality in Belgium are chocolate ( It is VERY good ;D) I shops of weets like Pilate in Ath, beer ( There is a "cafe" near brussel i think and the name is "Délirium" There is 2007 or something like that, of different kind of beer from everywhere!, The chips or fries are very goof in Belgium too and we have a lot of choice and finaly, in Ath there are a lot of comics shops too.
At school, we don't have an uniform, you can wear what you want just not too short and clothes have a lot of different colours. In Ath there are fashion shops for teenagers, adults and children but it's often very expensive ! Sometimes about 200 euros for a T-shirt or basket.
The Burbant tower is very popular in Ath just like the giants, there is a giants museum in Ath too.
In Ath, you have a lot of choice for transports, bus, train, cars, feet, ... The station is about 10 minutes from school and next to the station, there are a lot of bus stop, more than four next to eachoter. But we have a lot of trafic because there are seven different school in Ath!

Salut! je voudrais parler au sujet de mes vacances. En generale, j'ai dormi beaucoup parce que je vais à l'école très tôt pendant le semaine.
Quelque jours (lundi et mercredi) j'ai l'orchestre du lycée à 17 hrs de 20 hrs. C'est très amusant mais beaucoup de travail aussi. je joue de la guitare et il y a un élève en "seconde chez toi" qui joue de la guitar aussi, il s'appelle Cody. Il joue très bien, mieux que moi, je pense.
Pendant les vacances, je suis allée au powerplant de Folsom et promené dans la vile dans la rue. J'adore la ville et tout les petit magasins. Je n'ai rien acheté, mais je m'ai amusé encore.

Moi j'aime pas faire du shopping mais j'adore acheter a manger :P Je trouve rarement quelque chose qui me plait ou sinon ca coûte très cher :S
Moi a Pâques je suis partie la première semaine au ski en Suisse, c'était vraiment génial ! Ca fait maintenant 9 ans que je skie :) Et j'aime toujours autant :D
La deuxieme semaine je suis juste restée avec mes ami(e)s.
J'ai aussi des cours d'instrument ! Le mardi je joue au piano a 18h30. Ca fait 8 ans que je joue au piano. Et le vendredi j'ai cours d'accompagnement
de piano, ca je viens de commencer cette année. Ca consiste à accompagner les fluttes, les violons ou ceux qui chantent au piano. D'ailleurs vendredi j'ai
examen, j'espére que ca ira :S
En parlant de ça, J'ai été au Capt'ain ce week-end, c'est une " boîte " en Belgique, près de Tournai, si tu viens en Belgique et que tu veux t'amuser,
il faut d'office que tu passe y faire un tour :) La musique est géniale et il y a trois salle avec trois style différent de musique et il y a aussi parfois certaines
soirées avec des thème spéciaux.

Finally, I found two very good experiences !
The first was when I was 10 and with my family : my sister, my two brothers and my parents. It was in July and we went to France in
" Le Périgord ". It was there I found my dog ! It's an " Epagneul Français " He is black and white, very cute. The weather was very nice. I think it
was the most beautiful day of my life. I remember his eyes when he was at home in Belgium. We believed he was smiling
The second was last year. I went to the " côte d'Azur " in France, you might know this place ?
Every year I go there but last year I went with my family plus my best friend and a good friend of my brother and I.
The scenary was breathtaking !! The sea was so blue, it's unbelievable. The temperature was very hot, about 40 C in th sun !
Every day I went to the beach with my sister, my brother, friend and best friend.
In the night, it was colder but if you were in t-shirt it was good.
Every evening we went to the city ( about two or three km from where we lived ). Sometimes we took ice creams or drinks but we often stayed
in a place and talked during hours.
Every morning while my brother and his friend slept ( Sébastien ) we layed the table and after we went to wake them up.
I'll never forget this vacations, never !
Je ne sais pas encore ce que je veux faire plus tard. Sûrement quelque chose dans le social car c'est mon option.
Le rêve de beaucoup de gens est de se marier, d'avoir des enfants et un bon job.
Ce serait trop parfait ! Je préfére donc ne pas me faire de fausses idées, on verra ce que me reservera le futur ^^
Notre prof nous a demander ce que nous ferions si nous avions un demi million d'euros et c'est assez marrant parce que quelque jours avant j'avais
justement rêver que j'avais énormement d'argent :) Le hasard fais bien les choses lol
Tout d'abord, je m'acheterai un nouvel ipod et un nouveau gsm, depuis le temps que j'en ai envie !
Toutes les petites choses que j'ai toujours désirées, ...
Ensuite, une voiture pour mon frére et une pour moi ^^
Un magnifique cheval pour ma soeur et tout ce qui va avec, plus tout ce qu'elle désirera d'autre.
je donnerai aussi de l'argent a mes parents pour tout ce qu'ils ont fait pour moi
Finalement, le reste de l'argent ira pour mes amis, surtout ma meilleure amie mais aussi pour les sorties, les cigarettes, les cadeaux, ...
Et ce qu'il reste je le garderai pour mon futur.
Tout cela me rendrai très heureuse :D

I'm going to tell you a story about a good experience I have had....
In May last year I went to Italy with my classroom for teen days. We went to Florence a beautiful place
where there were a lot of monuments to visit! "You can believe me!^^"
The weather was beautiful there and we were very happy...but not a long time..The first hotel where we spent
wasn't clean BUT we enjoyed ourselves though because the group grew closer and it was great^^
We had free time and we did shopping or meeting a lot of people very kind...and the boys are very handsome...^^
After five days we went to Venice the "Love City"..
The hotel was better and we ate better too! We were near on the beach and so we went to play football and volleyball
but to tan too of course...We were excited to have free time because we walked,drank and we had a lot of fun!
But all the good things are an end...After teen days we came back in Belgium...The trip was amazing!
We have good memories and we often speak about the trip!

Plus tard, c' est à dire dans peu de temps, je voudrais être professeur de français ou être éducatrice spécialisée
dans le secteur des enfants placés par un juge...J'aime avoir du contact avec les gens cela me permet de me sentir
paisible...J'aimerais avoir des enfants aussi au moins quatre...^^
Maintenant si je gagnais un demi million d euros ce serait vraiment chouette...je crois que je perdrais un peu
la notion des choses et que je dépenserais à tord et à travers...Mais je crois que faire plaisir aux gens que j' aime

In Ath, you have a lot of choice for transports, bus, train, cars, feet, ... The station is about 10 minutes from school and next to the station, there are a lot of bus stop, more than four next to eachoter. But we have a lot of trafic because there are seven different school in Ath!

Salut! je voudrais parler au sujet de mes vacances. En generale, j'ai dormi beaucoup parce que je vais à l'école très tôt pendant le semaine.
Quelque jours (lundi et mercredi) j'ai l'orchestre du lycée à 17 hrs de 20 hrs. C'est très amusant mais beaucoup de travail aussi. je joue de la guitare et il y a un élève en "seconde chez toi" qui joue de la guitar aussi, il s'appelle Cody. Il joue très bien, mieux que moi, je pense.
Pendant les vacances, je suis allée au powerplant de Folsom et promené dans la vile dans la rue. J'adore la ville et tout les petit magasins. Je n'ai rien acheté, mais je m'ai amusé encore.
Et vous? Qu'est-ce que vous avez fait pendant votre vacances?
Est-ce que vous avez eu beaucoup de devoirs? Travail?

Moi j'aime pas faire du shopping mais j'adore acheter a manger :P Je trouve rarement quelque chose qui me plait ou sinon ca coûte très cher :S
Moi a Pâques je suis partie la première semaine au ski en Suisse, c'était vraiment génial ! Ca fait maintenant 9 ans que je skie :) Et j'aime toujours autant :D
La deuxieme semaine je suis juste restée avec mes ami(e)s.
J'ai aussi des cours d'instrument ! Le mardi je joue au piano a 18h30. Ca fait 8 ans que je joue au piano. Et le vendredi j'ai cours d'accompagnement
de piano, ca je viens de commencer cette année. Ca consiste à accompagner les fluttes, les violons ou ceux qui chantent au piano. D'ailleurs vendredi j'ai
examen, j'espére que ca ira :S
En parlant de ça, J'ai été au Capt'ain ce week-end, c'est une " boîte " en Belgique, près de Tournai, si tu viens en Belgique et que tu veux t'amuser,
il faut d'office que tu passe y faire un tour :) La musique est géniale et il y a trois salle avec trois style différent de musique et il y a aussi parfois certaines
soirées avec des thème spéciaux.

I searched during a long time what i'm gonna tell you.
Finally, I found two very good experiences !
The first was when I was 10 and with my family : my sister, my two brothers and my parents. It was in July and we went to France in
" Le Périgord ". It was there I found my dog ! It's an " Epagneul Français " He is black and white, very cute. The weather was very nice. I think it
was the most beautiful day of my life. I remember his eyes when he was at home in Belgium. We believed he was smiling
The second was last year. I went to the " côte d'Azur " in France, you might know this place ?
Every year I go there but last year I went with my family plus my best friend and a good friend of my brother and I.
The scenary was breathtaking !! The sea was so blue, it's unbelievable. The temperature was very hot, about 40 C in th sun !
Every day I went to the beach with my sister, my brother, friend and best friend.
In the night, it was colder but if you were in t-shirt it was good.
Every evening we went to the city ( about two or three km from where we lived ). Sometimes we took ice creams or drinks but we often stayed
in a place and talked during hours.
Every morning while my brother and his friend slept ( Sébastien ) we layed the table and after we went to wake them up.
I'll never forget this vacations, never !
Je ne sais pas encore ce que je veux faire plus tard. Sûrement quelque chose dans le social car c'est mon option.
Le rêve de beaucoup de gens est de se marier, d'avoir des enfants et un bon job.
Ce serait trop parfait ! Je préfére donc ne pas me faire de fausses idées, on verra ce que me reservera le futur ^^
Notre prof nous a demander ce que nous ferions si nous avions un demi million d'euros et c'est assez marrant parce que quelque jours avant j'avais
justement rêver que j'avais énormement d'argent :) Le hasard fais bien les choses lol
Tout d'abord, je m'acheterai un nouvel ipod et un nouveau gsm, depuis le temps que j'en ai envie !
Toutes les petites choses que j'ai toujours désirées, ...
Ensuite, une voiture pour mon frére et une pour moi ^^
Un magnifique cheval pour ma soeur et tout ce qui va avec, plus tout ce qu'elle désirera d'autre.
je donnerai aussi de l'argent a mes parents pour tout ce qu'ils ont fait pour moi
Finalement, le reste de l'argent ira pour mes amis, surtout ma meilleure amie mais aussi pour les sorties, les cigarettes, les cadeaux, ...
Et ce qu'il reste je le garderai pour mon futur.
Tout cela me rendrai très heureuse :D

How are you? What's new?
I'm going to tell you a story about a good experience I have had....
In May last year I went to Italy with my classroom for teen days. We went to Florence a beautiful place
where there were a lot of monuments to visit! "You can believe me!^^"
The weather was beautiful there and we were very happy...but not a long time..The first hotel where we spent
wasn't clean BUT we enjoyed ourselves though because the group grew closer and it was great^^
We had free time and we did shopping or meeting a lot of people very kind...and the boys are very handsome...^^
After five days we went to Venice the "Love City"..
The hotel was better and we ate better too! We were near on the beach and so we went to play football and volleyball
but to tan too of course...We were excited to have free time because we walked,drank and we had a lot of fun!
But all the good things are an end...After teen days we came back in Belgium...The trip was amazing!
We have good memories and we often speak about the trip!

Plus tard, c' est à dire dans peu de temps, je voudrais être professeur de français ou être éducatrice spécialisée
dans le secteur des enfants placés par un juge...J'aime avoir du contact avec les gens cela me permet de me sentir
paisible...J'aimerais avoir des enfants aussi au moins quatre...^^
Maintenant si je gagnais un demi million d euros ce serait vraiment chouette...je crois que je perdrais un peu
la notion des choses et que je dépenserais à tord et à travers...Mais je crois que faire plaisir aux gens que j' aime
serait aussi une chose qui me rendrait paisible!
